Update: HMG Ultramid 2 setups
I’ve decided to add a full DCF floor inner net and Ruta Locura 701 series adjustable carbon fiber pole in order to allow use of the shelter while employing trekking poles from camps, and for complete weather and insect protection for 2 persons:
The inner can be set alone for well-ventilated insect protection in warmer conditions
Ample separation of the inner from the outer mid avoids condensation
Simple setups using paired trek poles as shown here, or using #710 series carbon fiber pole adjusted to c 64 in height as seen in the image below
The inner weighs c 20 oz; by splitting items each of 2 persons can therefore carry about 23 oz of total weight including the 5 oz pole, for a very large-interior 4 season shelter.
