MY WORKSHOPS
I offer workshops covering adventure sports videography, music videos, audio, and AV editing. The usual locations include pre-arranged studios as well as Joshua Tree National Park, Mt San Jacinto State Park at the top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the Sierra Nevada range, coastal southern CA and Big Sur. Adventure sports workshops include backpacking depending on client interest.
These workshops are limited to a maximum of 4 persons.
These are weekday or weekend sessions, with optional evening pre-meetings to finalize workshop details with individual participants. The fees for instruction in still photography and/ or video are
$400/2 day weekend, per person
$200/day, per person
I rent camping gear to participants at times, please inquire for more information. Participants bring their cameras, computers, media, and other equipment for use and critique as desired. I use Panasonic GH5/5s and DJI Osmo Action cameras, as well as DJI drones (Mavic 2 Pro 4K, Mavic Mini) and have extensive experience with the Canon 5D Mk III.
My colleague James Garrett would cover editing with Final Cut Pro and Media Composer; I cover editing with Da Vinci Resolve.
Fees are due by the start of each session.
